Restaurant for Two: Michael Jordan’s Steak House

Did you know that May is National Burger Month? Michael Jordan’s Steak House in River North is celebrating! With 31 different burgers – 1 for each day of the month – you can try at least a few more burgers before month’s end.

While the 3 burgers I ate have already passed their “special day”, you’re lucky enough that they are staple menu items that’ll be featured on a rotating basis. No matter when you go or what burger you order, the meat patty will be juicy and cooked with just the right amount of pink. You’ll see mini burgers in my pics since I was here for a review, but you’ll get the real deal when you order.

Black and Blue Burger: Cajun Seasoned, SalemVille Blue Cheese & Balsamic Onions

Besides the many burger options at Jordan’s, the appetizers are where it’s at. Always on the menu is the blue cheese Garlic Bread. Not only is it topped with blue cheese, this app comes with a blue cheese & white wine fondue drizzle on top. Can you say YUM!?

The Double Smoked Bacon is also a crowd favorite. The meat is smoked and then drizzled with a maple glaze. My breakfast dream has died and gone to lunch and dinner heaven.

While the burgers were the main event, the star of the show for me was the Perfect Pear cocktail. It’s a gin-based cocktail with Hendricks, elderflower, pear, egg whites, and walnut bitters. How cute is this?! I think I found my new favorite cocktail in Chicago ❤

This press event was my first dining experience at Michael Jordan’s Steak House, but telling by how delicious everything was and the attention to detail, I can only guess that everything else on the menu will be perfection as well.
